What we store on your device

Your favourite games, recently played games, language and theme choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time from the Favourites page or your browser settings.

Likes, reports and play counts

When you start a game, like or dislike it, or report a problem, our server adds one to a counter for that game. To stop the same person voting many times, it keeps a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address (not the address itself) for up to 30 days. No name, email or account is involved.

Games from third parties

Games are provided by HTML5 game distributors (such as GameDistribution and GameMonetize) and load from their servers inside a frame. These providers may use cookies and collect technical data such as your IP address and device type to deliver the game, measure use and show ads. Their own privacy policies apply to that data.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly statistics to count visits and see which games are popular. These statistics do not identify you.

Children

Joyo is a general-audience website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See our page for parents.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete data about you. Because we do not ask for your name or email to play, we usually hold no personal data about you.
