Information for parents

Joyo is a general-audience game site. Here is what you should know before your child plays.

What we filter out

We do not list games about gambling, dating or adult themes, or games with blood and graphic violence. Games are checked by title, description and tags before they appear, and you can report any game with the Report button.

Ads

The site shows ads from Google, and some games show short ads from their distributor. Ads are never placed on top of the game itself. You can turn off personalised ads in your Google account settings.

No accounts, no chat

Players do not create accounts or share personal information on Joyo. A few multiplayer games let players pick a nickname; remind your child not to use their real name.

Good places to start

The Kids, Puzzle and Casual sections hold the gentlest games.
